Rachel Brooke is a First Amendment Fellow with the Center for Investigative Reporting. She obtained her J.D. from NYU School of Law in 2019, where she focused her studies on issues related to media law and the intersection of law and technology. During law school, Rachel interned with BuzzFeed and Springer Nature, as well as serving as a senior editor for the Journal of IP and Entertainment Law and a research assistant for Professor Jason Schultz. Prior to law school, Rachel worked as a literary agent with a New York literary agency. Rachel is based at CIR's offices in Emeryville, California.
